As a child, Alexie loved putting on shows in her yard with the other kids in the community. As she grew older, she participated in many shows at school and joined the Drama Club, with whom she attended District and State competitions. As she entered High School, she tried her hand on the technical side of Theater in the areas of Stage Manager/ASM Stage Hand, Make-up Artist, Stage Craft, Costuming, Props and Security. She often performed three or more of these tasks during the run of a single show. She achieved the title of Honors Thespian within the Thespian Honors Society upon graduation.

She began working for the Walt Disney Company while still in High School at the age of 16 and is currently working for them in the Entertainment Department as a Parades, Shows, Face and Puppeteer Performer.

She has enjoyed working on such films as Renee, Automaton Transfusion, All's Faire in Love and The Intentions Of... as well as the Television Specials Dr.G: Medical Examiner, Scenes: Walt Disney World and Building a Thrill Ride: Expedition Everest along with the commercial for that special that played on the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and the Science Channel.

Alexie also works as an independent improvisational actor for special events and festivals.
